At First Methodist, we offer two Sunday morning worship services.
Our traditional style of worship is at 8:30 AM and our contemporary service is at 10:45 AM.

Traditional Worship
Our 8:30 AM traditional Sunday service includes congregational hymns accompanied by pipe organ and choir, readings from the Old and New Testaments, liturgical responses, a sermon, a children’s sermon, and (on the first Sunday of each month) Holy Communion.
Our traditional service incorporates hymns, readings and ceremonies based on centuries of church worship, woven into a rich tapestry of worship and praise. From the congregational reading of church creeds to the singing of hymns from the 16th century to the present, traditional worship at First UMC is dedicated to glorifying God and sharing the good news of the gospel. Please join us in word, sermon, and song!

Our contemporary worship service at 10:45 AM incorporates both ancient and modern music into the worship experience. Music is accompanied by a praise band using keyboard, guitars, bass, and drums. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.
